We all need space and quiet when it comes down to the serious work. Available from May-December, 2023 and may be negotiable for storage during winter months.

Artist/Writer has access to artist sink, kitchenette and bathroom located in the Reading Room (red barn) during Art & Writing Center's regular hours. (M-F, 10-5 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday, 10-2 p.m.)

Located across the street from Dunkin Donuts, this artist/writer studio for rent is only two miles from the beach. Take a break on Charlestown's remarkable beaches! The BoP Art & Writing Center is 20 minutes from Narragansett, Wakefield and Westerly on Route One (Narrow Lane/Business District Exit).

Artist/Writer may want to take advantage of the opportunity to show and/or read from his/her work by hosting his/her own event in BoP's Reading Room (red barn).

Re launched in 2023 (formerly "Books on the Pond," an independent bookstore and event space), the BoP Art & Writing Center re invented itself post Covid. It now offers two artist studios for rent and programming centered around art and writing; and because without acknowledging the constant presence of the Atlantic, it would be remiss not to also offer events centered around ocean conservation awareness. Artists and writers are inspired by our marine habitat! Our mission is to provide a place based opportunity for folks of all ages to meet and discuss ideas, art and writing face-to-face.
